Egedal Maskinfabrik A/S is a Danish company, which was founded in 1934 and has its root in Egebjerg outside Horsens. 
The first years, the company particularly engaged in agricultural machinery and small metal products. In 1948 in coope-
ration with a local nurseryman, they began to develop and produce machines for nurseries.

Only few years later, these machines had become a wide range of machinery for nurseries and forestry. Even in 1950 the
first machines where exportedto Scandinavia and Germany and soon more countries followed. 

Today, Egedal machines are being used in all of Europe, United States, Canada, Japan, China and Australia. 

Egedal offers a machine program which covers all needs for a rational and modern plant production. Egedal´s quality 
machines can always be used for both large and small operations because of their simple and strong constructions.
